BIBLE STUDY PRAYER


  • The Word of God is ever before me.
  • I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I believe in Jesus wholeheartedly, hold fast to his teachings, and live in accordance with them that I may know the truth. (John 8:31,32)
  • The truth of God’s Word makes me free. (John 8:32)
  • My heart studies God‘s Word to give righteous answers. (Proverbs 15:28)
  • The Lord opens my understanding that I may understand the scriptures. (Luke 24:45)
  • My heart shall not study destruction, and my lips shall not speak mischief. (Proverbs 24:2)
  • I study to show myself approved unto God as a workman who has no need to be ashamed, and I rightly divide God’s Word. (2 Timothy 2:15)
  • I study to be quiet, to do my own business, and to work with my own hands that I may walk in honesty toward all men and have no lack. (1 Thessalonians 4:11,12)
  • God’s law does not depart from my mouth. I delight in God’s Word and meditate on it day and night that I may do all that is written therein. And because I diligently study God’s Word, my way is prosperous and I am successful. (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:2)
  • I meditate on God’s precepts, have respect for His ways, and talk about His doings. (Psalm 1119:15; Psalm 77:12)
  • I remember the Lord upon my bed, and meditate upon Him during the night watches. (Psalm 63:6)

  • I am faithful to God’s Word. (James 1:25 AMP)
  • I persevere in looking into God’s Word. (James 1:25 AMP)
  • I am not a heedless listener who hears God’s Word and forgets, but I am an active doer of God’s Word and am blessed. (James 1:25 AMP)
  • As a newborn child desires milk, so do I desire God’s Word that I may grow. (1 Peter 2:2)
  • I ingest and digest the meat of God’s Word. (Hebrews 5:14)
  • I search the scriptures that I may learn of Jesus and inherit eternal life. (John 5:39)
  • I am cleansed through the word that Jesus speaks to me. (John 15:3)
  • I study God’s Word line upon line, precept upon precept, that He may teach me knowledge and give me to understand doctrine. (Isaiah 28:9-13)
