TEACH ME TO PRAY

Lord, please teach me how to pray. (Luke 11:1)

I humble myself and tap the spirit of prayer and intercession, and step over into it now, in the name of Jesus.

Lord God, please bestow upon me a mantle of prayer.

Holy Ghost, please help my infirmities, for I don’t know how to pray as I ought. (Romans 8:26)

I humble myself from within my spirit as much as I can and submit to God- from within my spirit- so that I can properly resist the devil and have him flee from me, in the name of Jesus. (James 4:7)

I speak to my attitude and command it to be right before God as I engage in prayer, in the name of Jesus.

Holy Ghost, please reveal all incorrect attitudes and mindsets that hinder my approach in prayer, in the name of Jesus. Thank you Holy Ghost!

I decree that my spirit is NOW being correctly postured to properly engage in strategic prayer, spiritual warfare, intercession, praise and worship, and confession of the Word of God, in the name of Jesus.

I command my spirit to submit to the Holy Ghost to pray at all times and command my flesh to be still in the midst of prayer, in the name of Jesus.

I decree that my flesh has NO place in prayer and spiritual warfare, for though I live in the flesh I do not war after the flesh. (2 Corinthians 10:3) 

I command my spirit to pray, even when my flesh doesn’t feel like it, in the name of Jesus.

I decree that the weapons of my warfare are NOT carnal but mighty through God. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

I decree that the weapons of my warfare are now being revealed with detailed, godly revelation of how to operate in them, in the name of Jesus.

God, gird me with strength and teach my hands to war and my fingers to fight so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms, in the name of Jesus. (Psalm 18:34; Psalm 144:1)

I decree that I am NOW operating in the weapons of my warfare and I pull down EVERY demonic stronghold within me revealed by the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

Father God, please enable me to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that I may more effectively engage in prayer, and please ignite these gifts within me with the fire of God, in the name of Jesus. (1 Corinthians 12:8, 10)

Through the Word of God, I cast down vain imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God within me, and I take ungodly thoughts captive, and bring them all into the obedience of Christ, in the name of Jesus. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

I command my spirit to pray and NOT faint, and to pray without ceasing, in the name of Jesus. (Luke 18:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

I command my spirit to press past my flesh, and past all demonic opposition within me to pray, in the name of Jesus.

I decree that I am instant in prayer, in the name of Jesus. (Romans 12:12)

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. (Psalm 55:16)

I decree that I SHALL pray and cry aloud to God at evening, morning, and noon and he shall hear my voice. (Psalm 55:17)

Holy Ghost, please rise up from within my spirit and make intercession with groaning that cannot be uttered for my prayer life, in the name of Jesus. (Romans 8:26)

Holy Ghost, please quicken my spirit to make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all people and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty, in the name of Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:1,2)
